JA Inspire (JCPA Showcase of Schools)

Students and their families are invited to attend an interactive career fair in addition to the JCPS Showcase of Schools.

Junior Achievement’s core mission is dedicated to preparing the workforce of the future.  In a world where change is the only constant, Junior Achievement must keep innovating.  As part of that innovation, we are rolling out a new program in 2015 called JA Inspire.

JA Inspire is the pilot for a powerful interactive experience that exposes 8th grade students to the vast variety of local career opportunities. This job awareness fair will enable students to interact with business representatives and see displays from dozens of Kentuckiana companies including Dow Chemical, KentuckyOne Health, Ford, Interapt, GE, KentuckianaWorks, The Learning House, The Software Guild, Zeon Chemical, and Arkema.  This year, exhibits will focus on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) Careers.
