JA BizTown Students Can Be Community Health Researchers at Home

April 21, 2020 | News & Events

In a continued partnership, the University of Louisville’s Center for Healthy Air, Water, & Soil and Junior Achievement of Kentuckiana are looking for ways to bring the JA BizTown Community Health Researcher job virtually to our students.  Just like the team of researchers at the University of Louisville, your student will conduct experiments and present research findings to U of L from home!  Make sure to turn in your findings to the University of Louisville’s Center for Healthy Air, Water, & Soil (you will find submission instructions on the bottom of page 7 in the experiment instructions below) to get  your BizTown-themed Health Researcher certificate and Health Ambassador pin!

Our first experiment is the At-Home Healthy Air Water and Soil Experiment Series. This module is about healthy soil and the experiment involves collecting and analyzing soil samples.  Click here to download the experiment instructions.

Our second experiment is  one that focuses on the importance of clean air.  Click here to download the experiment instructions.

Our third and final experiment is one that focuses on the importance of water.  Click here to download the experiment instructions.
