Megan Willman

Megan has worked as an educator in a variety of capacities for the whole of her adult life. Originally certified as a classroom teacher in English and French, she later became an educator trained to reach students from elementary school through college on topics related to personal development and healthy relationships. In those roles, Megan worked in nine Kentuckiana counties – the focus of community outreach is close to her heart.  Her role with Junior Achievement allows her to continue engaging young people from age five to twenty-five. Her goal is to meet them where they are, both literally and developmentally, to help them get to where they want to be.

Megan earned a BA in English from Hanover College and moved to the “sunny side” of the river in 1994. She and her husband Rob have two grown sons and are enjoying their new “empty nest” status. Megan loves spending time outside, exercising, traveling, writing, and hanging out with family and friends. Her newest hobby is attempting to cultivate a native landscape in her backyard.
